in response to lacygreenlaw's post, i'm doing pretty well.
i started dance both at school and in my regular studio.
i stopped taking ballet when i was younger, and never really started again because i didn't want to start with babies, but now i have to take it in school, along with modern which i've been taking, and i absolutely love it. a lot of people say the dance program at cardozo sucks, but it really doesn't, its just that a lot of the students didn't expect to be doing ballet and don't want to work at all. but the teachers and the classes are amazing.
and at my studio, there's been lots of changes in staffing. my new modern teacher? is absolutely amazing. the class is a million times better than it used to be, and it used to be great, so, yeah. i've got to figure out what i'm going to do about jazz, because the class i'm taking now is way below my level, but the only company jazz class is right in between my tap and modern class, and i'd have to give up modern to take it, but i really don't want to, but i don't want to give up jazz either. so i'm probably going to keep everything the way i have it, even though not only is my jazz class way slower and easier than i belong in, its also kind of inconvenient. but whatever. i'll change it next year. easy isn't always bad. *shrugs*
